Sade Performs In London

Sade returns for her first live tour in a decade! The singer performed at O2 Arena in London tonight. I just get shivers down my spine when I think about this woman's stunning voice on stage. She is what a TRUE singer is all about. How can someone sound even better live?

I can still kick myself for not buying tickets for the August 5th show in Chicago because I thought I was going out of town that weekend but the event I was going to has been cancel and now I will just sit here weeping all day because I will miss the greatest concert of the decade!

The songstress wore an amazing black and sheer adorned with a leather belt and cuffs ensemble. I was surprise to see the "Queen" looking sooo hip at 50!

She completed her look with fabulous black strappy heels.

"Braxton Family Values" Reunion

My girls and I took time out from eating and drinking(mostly drinking) on Saturday to watch a marathon of "Braxton Family Values" and we had the greatest time ever. I love those girls especially Tamar crazy self. All she wants to do is dress sexy and drop it like its hot!

Toni Braxton looks great in her nude wrapped full sleeves dress paired with gray suede heels.

I do prefer her with shorter hair. She just never seems to get her weave right.

Tamar Braxton's husband( she knows she only marry him for his money) will probably kill her for wearing this because everything is hanging out!

She rocked a sexy tuxedo shorts ensemble but she could had lost the cheesy red rose. I am not a fan of her black and white booties.

I am also not a fan of her weave, again it's just too much but I do however like her make-up.

Next to Toni, I think Trina Braxton is the prettiest. She tends not to over do it with her clothes and weave.

The singer rocked a cute animal print dress but I am not feeling those blah shoes. Where is my pop 0f color?

I see she has "two new editions" added to her body!

My cousin swear Towanda Braxton is not their sister! She believes Poppa Braxton did a little creeping.

She looks great in her purple cut-out dress paired with purple metallic heels but her gold chain necklace was just an overkill.

I never cared for her hair nor make-up and this occasion is no exception.

I was delighted to see Traci Braxton looking like their sister instead of their grandmother!

She looks pretty in her melon cut-out sleeves dress paired with metallic heels.

She and Tamar do however go a little crazy with the concealer under their eyes.

Michelle Obama In Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren Fall 2011

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obam hosted a Dinner for Queen Elizabeth at the Winfield House in London.

Michelle looked stunning as always in her black and satin Ralph Lauren off-the-shoulders gown.

I will kill everyone in my path for her outstanding Tom Binns statement necklace and bracelet!

An elegant up-do and flawless make-up completed her magnificent look.

"American Idol 2011" Finale

I am extremely delighted that my boy Scotty won American Idol! I loved that kid and his deep country voice was simply golden. I appreciate the fact that he thank the Lord first when he won!

Jennifer Lopez gave us a fashionable and wonderful season this year. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about her chemistry with Steven Tyler and good old Randy Jackson at first but they actually worked out perfectly.

I still miss my Simon Cowell but we will see him soon on "X Factor" and thank God the untalented Cheryl Cole was replaced by Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls.

JLo looked fabulous in her gold sparkly nude Micheal Kors jumpsuit.

I am looooving her messy curly hair two-tone hair. Ciara needs to take notes.

She completed her look with gold Gucci sandals.

Carrie Underwood showed her tone sexy legs in her sequined geometric Lorena Sarbu sheath dress.

It's amazing when Hollywood gets a hold of you. When Carrie first appeared on American Idol on season 4 back in 2005, she was a little plump unfashionable country girl but now she rocking hot designer dresses and has a body of death!

The country singer wore an amazing pair of embellished Sergio Rossi peep-toe slingback platforms.

"The Hangover Part II" Premiere

Ciara always have to show off her fabulous figure. This time the singer wore a white Cushnie et ochs rise and fall dress.

At first I wasn't too crazy about this look but she manages to pull it off well.

I am not fond of her two-tone bangs because it just looks sooo cheap.

Sanaa Lathan looks amazing in her black studded one-shouldered Malandrino dress.

Soft curls and black sandals completed her look.

Selita Ebanks opted for a more romantic vibe in her Rebecca Taylor lace and printed ensemble.

I admit that she looks like an extra on "Little House On the Prairie" but she still looks soft and sweet.

A braided up-do and nude peep-toe sandals completed her look.

Berlin Premiere

Jamie Chung looks sexy as ever in her ivory thigh-high split Rachel Roy asymmetric neckline dress. The actress attended the Berlin premiere.

The actress finished her look with a chic up-do, gorgeous turquoise earrings and metallic strappy Jimmy Choo sandals.

Rihanna On The "Today Show"

Norma Kamali Midriff Top

I had a ball in Philly with my girls and then I had to come back to witness this foolishness! Why can't Rihanna, Brittany Spears or Lady GaGa keep their damn clothes on?

Rihanna performed on the "Today Show" and she actually wore this skimpy ensemble. I thought it was a family show?

The singer(I use that word very loosely) rocked a striped electric blue and black Norma Kamali long sleeved sweater which I think is beyond cute with the striped wide-leg high-waist pants. She could had rocked the shorts version and looked more presentable.

I know she is performing on stage but her black Louis Vuitton brief shorts, fishnet stockings and gold chain belt is entirely too much going on!

The singer's hair is also a hot curly mess. Just when I thought Rihanna was on the classy road, she makes a detour to tacky-ville!

NBA Finals, Finally!

After an 82-game season and 3 rounds of playoff series, the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks will square off in what is sure to be a fantastic NBA Finals.  The Finals will feature a team that is "as Hollywood as Hell" (Miami Heat...according to Joakim Noah of the Chicago Bulls) and a team that will be trying to avenge an NBA Finals loss to the Heat in the 2006 NBA Finals (Dallas Mavericks).  Although the Miami Heat created all the buzz leading into the 2010-11 NBA season with the acquisitions of LeBron James and Chris Bosh, along with the re-signing of Dwayne Wade, many had hoped for the South Beach Experiment to fail and prevent the Heat from fulfilling LeBron's promise of multiple NBA championships.  I can't remember a team going through so much scrutiny throughout a regular season, yet here they are - four wins from the first of what might be many NBA championships.  The Mavericks have been one of the most consistent teams during the past 10+ years, stringing together 50-win season after 50-win season, but have experienced multiple playoff disappointments and only made the NBA Finals once (2006).  But before the Finals tip off on Tuesday night, here are a few things to think about and watch for during what should be an exciting series of basketball.

Dirk Nowitzki has carried the Mavericks over the past
10+ years, but has yet to lead them to a championship.
Who will guard the German?   How does a man who listens to David Hasselhoff to get himself pumped up for games become the MVP of the playoffs so far?  Germany native Dirk Nowitzki is quickly and impressively earning the title of the greatest European player ever.  The 7'1" sweet-shooting power forward is playing his best basketball of his career, highlighted by one of the best performances in NBA playoffs history when in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, Dirk scored 48 points on 12-15 shooting from the field and an NBA record 24-24 from the free throw line.  To this point in the playoffs, nobody has been able to match up defensively with the shooting guard trapped in a big man's body.  Dirk can be difficult to guard because a lot of big men are simply not accustomed to going out to guard an offensive player outside of 10 feet.  And what makes Dirk so good is that he can also drive the ball to the basket if the defender comes out too hard or tries to block his shot too aggressively.  Four Heat players will primarily take turns guarding Dirk throughout the series (Chris Bosh, LeBron James, Udonis Haslem, and Joel Anthony), with power forward Chris Bosh and small forward LeBron James likely trying to stop him in key situations.  One thing is certain:  if the Heat can't find a way to stop Dirk, then the 'Hoff may be on every NBA player's playlist before every game.

First-time Champion...Dirk/Kidd or LeBron/Bosh?  The Finals will feature superstars on both teams that have yet to win a championship.  Chris Bosh is the only player mentioned in the heading that has NOT been to the NBA Finals previously.  Dirk and Jason Kidd have the shorter window as both players as well as the team seem to be getting along in years while LeBron and Bosh are under contract together (with Dwayne Wade) for the next 6 seasons.  Additionally, the Mavericks have had an unexpected playoff run as they were more challenged by the Blazers in the first round than they were by the Lakers and the Thunder in the second and third rounds -- combined!  (2 losses to the Blazers with only 1 combined loss to the Lakers/Thunder).  That sense of urgency should drive Kidd and Dirk to make 2011 the year that the Mavericks finally pull through and bring a title to the city of Dallas, which within the last year saw the SF Giants beat the Rangers in the World Series and watched the Packers win the Super Bowl in Cowboys Stadium while their Cowboys were sitting at home - waiting for the ol' Mavericks to make one more championship run.

Jason Terry hopes to be able to keep his tattoo long after the NBA Finals.
Will the tattoo be removed?  Dallas Maverick guard, Jason Terry, got a tattoo of the NBA Finals (Larry O'Brien) trophy back on October 19, 2010.  Terry got the tattoo in order to send a message and to inspire his teammates.  Terry has already come out and said that the tattoo (which is located inside of his right biceps) will be removed if the Mavericks are defeated by the Heat in the NBA Finals because he admits that he is a superstitious person and if the Mavericks lose, then the tattoo clearly wouldn't have worked.  "It just symbolized the fact that we had a realistic shot of getting here," Terry said.  "If I didn't think we had a chance, I wouldn't have put it there."  Well, Jason, it seems to have worked so far...why stop now?  How about a tattoo of David Hasselhoff on the left biceps?

Who will win the 4th Quarter?  Both the Heat and the Mavericks showed an innate ability to come back and dominate the 4th Quarter during the Conference Finals.  The experience of the veteran superstars for both teams became evident as they played suffocating defense and made clutch shots against the younger Chicago Bulls and OK City Thunder.  The Mavericks came back from 15 with less than 5 minutes left in Game 4 against the Thunder to tie the game and run past the Thunder in overtime to take a commanding 3-1 series lead, making Game 5 a mere formality.  The Heat showed their ability to impose their will on their opponents in the 4th Quarter by coming back from a 12-point deficit, outscoring the Bulls 18-3 to close out the Bulls in Game 5 on the Bulls home court in front of dazed and confused Bulls fans who remember what it was like to have such an experienced and dominant championship team when Michael Jordan was leading the way in the late-90's.  Both teams have the talent and the experience to win an NBA championship, and the title will most assuredly be decided in the 4th Quarter.  Don't plan on going to sleep early during the next couple of weeks, it will be worth staying up for.

American Airlines will be right along side the Dallas
Mavericks and Miami Heat in this year's NBA Finals.
The Winner?  The sure winner will be American Airlines, who is the named sponsor of the arena for both the Heat and the Mavericks.  The NBA Championship will, in fact, be won at American Airlines Arena.  That's a safe bet.  Having watched both the Western and Eastern Conference Finals, the series will go at least 6 games.  Each team will win at least one road game and I will be extremely surprised if each and every game does not come down to defense and offensive execution in the 4th Quarter, with key stars from each team making big shots in the closing seconds - just as they have done all playoffs and all year.  But I just can not see any team beating the Miami Heat in a 7-game series.  They are too talented, too experienced, and too determined to prove all the haters wrong.  Miami will close it out at home in Game 6 and bring another championship to South Beach over the Dallas Mavericks.  Call Jason Terry's tattoo artist - time to schedule a removal.

Strong Handshake Signs of Long Age

London, shake hands when ordinary people do stay in touch, meet colleagues or completes an interview. Apparently handshake can also be a clue a person live longer or not.

Scientists from University College London said that power when people shake hands can be a clue how long someone will live or age.

Researchers match parents balance, grip strength and ability to get up from a chair against the risk of premature death. Someone who can do well, probably could live longer. The results are reported in the British Medical Journal (BMJ).

This study combined with more than 30 previous studies involving tens of thousands of people who see a person's physical abilities and death. Most of the participants involved more than 60 years old, but still living at home.

The researchers found that mortality during the study period about 67 percent higher in people who have the weakest grip strength. A similar pattern was found on other measures, that is the slowest person on foot 3 times more likely to die faster and the slower rise from a chair more than twice as likely to die.

Despite the weakness that comes can be caused by disease or health factors that decrease, but the strength of shaking hands can show significant differences even in some people under the age of 60 years and have little or no health problems.

"One of the last part of the research conducted at the hospital found the difference in grip strength, even this is related to the duration of his stay in the hospital. This result is important enough," said Professor Avan Aihie Sayer, a geriatrician from Southampton University, as quoted by BBC News, Saturday (09/11/2010).

Professor Sayer suggests it takes some study to identify significant differences in strength of shaking hands on a young person. Since this could be a clue about the health problems in the future.

Wavy Short Red Hair.

I love her wavy hair. Wavy short red hair. Hihihi, I gave it a name :P
This photo from 'California King Bed' video. Since she has Wavy short red hair, all her new videos always dominated with red in colour. Her lips, her eyes, her eyebrow, her eyelashes, her eye gaze are PERFECT!
She's the most beautiful woman I ever see. I love her so much as a superstar!

Donations, Collisions, and Champions

Barry Bonds - fresh off his recent conviction of one count of obstruction of justice in his perjury trial - has offered to pay for the college education of the children of a San Francisco Giants fan who was severely beaten outside Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles back on March 31.  The single-father Giants fan has been in critical condition since the beating, and the support from the Giant fan base has spanned from monetary donations to hospital visits.

Barry Bonds is known for being a home run king and an alleged steroid user,
but two children of a Giants fan will know him as a generous donor.
But not many people would have expected Barry Bonds to be a part of that support system.  Some may view Bonds' offer cynically by suggesting that he is trying to recoup some sort of positive public image by taking advantage of the situation, but I don't care who he is, what he may have done (or not done), or what you may think of him, you have to tip your hat to the all-time home run king* for what he has done for the fan's children.

Speaking of the Giants, their 2011 season was derailed this week as their star catcher, Buster Posey, could potentially miss the rest of the year with a broken leg after he was barreled over by Florida Marlin, Scott Cousins, in a physical play at the plate that can be seen here.  Since then, many baseball experts have debated whether Major League Baseball should change any rules that restrict such significant contact at the plate (what Cousins did was within the current rules) in order to protect rising stars such as Posey from injuries that can have long-term effects.  However, nothing will happen and no rules will be changed.  Why?  Because this isn't the first catcher to ever get hurt in a collision at the plate...and he unfortunately won't be the last.  A play at the plate is one of the most exciting plays in baseball, and if any rule changes are made then the game will suffer.  Should the NFL eliminate the sack (of a quarterback)?  Should the NHL eliminate hitting?  Should the NBA eliminate traveling?  Wait, ignore that last one.  If the catcher doesn't want to get hit, then he shouldn't block the plate.  Simple as that.  Sorry, Buster.  Get better soon!  Baseball needs you just as much as it needs plays at the plate.

Finally, an across-the-pond shout out to FC Barcelona who won the "Super Bowl" of soccer on Saturday by defeating Manchester United 3-1 in the Champions League Final.  Led by a fantastic performance by the greatest soccer player in the world, Lionel Messi (left), Barcelona staked their claim as one of the best teams ever with a dominant performance over the English champions.  I do not profess to be a soccer expert, but even I could tell by watching this match that FC Barcelona was by far the better squad with pinpoint passing and excellent execution of actual soccer "plays".  It was the 3rd Champions League Final win for Barcelona in 6 years.  Viva Espana!

Maxi

I just found it on Tumblr. Well maxi skirt and knitted sweater is better if combined, like this. And will be worsed if added with knitted scarf. Yup, you will look like has no neck. I think, knitted scarf is bad idea if you have short neck. It will hide your neck. BUT, if you have long neck, you can wear it because it will hide a few inches of your neck. Then, a rather transparent skirt is good! I like it. Maxi skirt like this is bad if you wear with small or thight clothes. Better with knitted sweater or fur jacket. Nice ! :]

Buffy's Sarah Michelle Gellar Is Back On TV With 'Ringer'

I was intrigued to find Sarah Michelle Gellar, main lead in her iconic TV show back in the 90's, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, listed on the top 5 Trending Topics on Yahoo today.

It appears that Gellar will be back on the boob tube this fall for her new show, The Ringer.

In Ringer, Gellar will portray the roles of twin sisters, Siobhan and Bridget. Bridget witnesses a murder then goes on a run and assumed the seemingly charming life of her rich twin sister. Aside from her mysterious disappearance, Bridget will soon unravel more mysteries in Siobhan's life.  And she will find out that Siobhan's life was much more complicated and dangerous from the life she ran away from.

Previously, Kapoor reportedly asked to replace Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is aged 37 years and was considered too old to represent the product.

At that moment, precisely 2009, Kapoor praised the career Rai-Bachchan and says that he would be happy if we could reach a tenth success Rai-Bachchan.

39th Annual FiFi Awards

Okay Halle Berry, I love you but I think this black cut-out Halston one-shouldered dress is a little bit too young for a 43 year old woman even if you have a body of death.

I just feel this is something either Beyonce or Rihanna could easily wear.

Halle is known for putting twenty year old girls to shame. Maybe I am jealous because I can't wear this sexy dress?

Thank you Jesus that Mary J. Blige decided to tone things down because she scared me at the 2011 Billboard Awards.

The singer is back to herself in this amazing ivory sequined dress.

I adore her ivory and gold accessories but I am still not crazy about her hair.

Fergie looks like a princess in her lemon embellished BCBGMaxAzria dress.

I loved the combination of her Judith Leiber blue clutch against the lemon hue.

I am off to have a fabulous time on the East Coast for Memorial Day weekend. I will see you guys on Tuesday. Have a fun and fashionable weekend!
